New rumours indicate that a new Britney Spears documentary is on the works. This time, it will be a Netflix project.

The website Bloomberg is breaking the news that Netflix is having its own movie about Britney Spears.

The source also claims filmmaker Erin Lee Carr – specialized in true crime documentaries – is in charge of the project and that it had been underway even before The New York Times’ film.

In the meantime, according with PEOPLE magazine, Britney Spears is not working on her own documentary as it had been previously rumoured.

There’s no official release date for the upcoming Netlfix project.
